Basically, if you're trying to use multiple databases, you probably want
to have separate versions of the htdig.conf (or whatever).
Each of these will set the database path, usually through database_dir.
In a merge, you're merging one database into another, so pick the config
that specifies the database you wish to merge as -m and the destination
database as -c (or don't specify it if you want the default).
