I saw discussion of this on the mailing list a while ago in the archives,
but I havent been able to find any resolution to the matter:
htdig searches the www.oberlin.edu server and indexes aliases to a single
page as separate matches, so I have duplicate entries returned with
slightly different URL's:
http://www.oberlin.edu/~OCTET and
http://www.oberlin.edu/OCTET
there was some discussion of implementing some sort of checksum to make
sure on page wasn't indexed twice. Any outcome here?
