I'm trying to use htdig for searching a mail list archive that
I created with MHonArc. I'm trying to get htdig to only index
words in the message files, and ignore the words in the index
files. In other words, I only want htsearch to "hit" on message
files, not the links to messages that are in the index files.
There are also "previous" and "next" message links in each of
the message files, and those should be ignored as well.
Looking through the docs, it seems like setting description_factor
to 0 should do exactly what I want....causing the search to ignore
any text in a link description. I deleted my database files, put
description_factor: 0 in my htdig.conf, and ran rundig again.
Searches are still hitting on index files and links in message
files! What am I doing wrong???
