You should run htdig, htmerge and htfuzzy individual and increase
the verbosity-level.

Try ftp://ftp.htdig.org/pub/htdig/contrib/wordlists/

Set it in htdig.conf. But you should try to set the locale in an
interactive shell to de_DE.  Use:
    export LC_ALL=de_DE;locale;unset LC_ALL
