What is an optimal setup for ram?
I'm looking for quicker results returned to the client. With a
database of 1G and fast drives, how is ram allocated in Linux? This
is a dedicated machine and I'd like to see faster performance. I
currently have 192M of ram. How much gain should I expect by
increasing this by 128 or 256M? The default search is "or". Has
anyone experimented to see where they get their gains?
