I'm afraid not. The current stable version does not support phrase
searching, and the development version (which does support phrase
searching) doesn't have any changes that would let the synonym
database translate phrases.
Of course, this could change if someone contributes code to do this.
Otherwise, it probably won't happen in the near future.
