[htdig] Meaning "pattern" for urls in config file

Several URL-related  attributes are described in the "Configuration
File Format -- Attributes" documentation as having values consisting
of "patterns".  For example, exclude_urls and limit_urls_to.  Is a
pattern in this context simply a substring, or can it contain regular
expressions?
