Hi,

Gilles Detillieux told me I should post at this address, so
here is my problem :

htdig Version: 3.1.4
OS : AIX 4.2.1.0 (powerpc, rs/6000 F40)
Compiler : C for AIX 4.4 (patched with vac.C.4.4.0.2.bff as seen
                          in a post somewhere on htdig.org )

./configure : no problem ,used --prefix
                               --with-cgi-bin-dir
                               --with-images-dir
                               --with search-dir

Compiling : had a couples of those warnings for some functions :
500-030: (I) INFORMATION: __ham_overflow_page: Additional
optimization may be attained by recompiling and specifying MAXMEM
option with a value greater than 2048.

I have installed ht://dig in /p/htdig.

cd to bindir
triton# ./rundig -vvv
./rundig[36]: 4516 Segmentation fault(coredump)
./rundig[37]: 4518 Segmentation fault(coredump)
./rundig[53]: 4520 Segmentation fault(coredump)
./rundig[67]: 7086 Segmentation fault(coredump)
./rundig[73]: 7092 Segmentation fault(coredump)
triton#

Each of this line are a call to htfuzzy,htdig,htnotify,...

I have tried the 5.14. solution mentionned in the FAQ
and I had the same results.. (removing the regex depends
on htdig/Makefile and htfuzzy/Makefile..., make clean, make)

I know I don't have a lot of informations for you, but
maybe with this we can start looking somewhere to
fix the problem..

I had no problem installing ht://dig on a linux machine...

Any ideas ? Thanks for the help.

ML
