The problem, as Andrew outlined a while ago is that the current version
uses variable-length fields. In general SQL databases don't deal very well
with this and this is a limitation that will be addressed in htdig4.
Also, we'll need to do some work to implement the current fuzzy matches
with SQL from what I understand.

Well, I thought it was that--an idea. Any help is needed. If people would
like to have a "competition" for redesigned ht://Dig graphics, I think that
would be great. I would also love it if people volunteered to proofread
and/or rewrite the web pages!
