I'd be glad to merge the changes from 3.0.8b1 to 3.1.0b2 into your code, if
you'd send me a tar of your modified source. I don't know of any quick
fixes around a limit in GDBM, though you can always cut the size of the DB
some by cutting down max_head_length.
