Dear people,
Htdig is running on many machines now. Maybe it's time to do
a survey on the use of htdig. Questions like:
- machine type
- htdig version (should always be 3.0.8b2 up to now)
- primary use of htdig (corporate, datasheets, <whatever>)
- # of servers indexed
- # of docs indexed
- # of words indexed
- size of databases
- average updates (once a day, week, month...)
- average running time htdig/htmerge ...
- patches used
- avarage use of htdig by people (hits/day or ...)
- URL of search.html
- maintainer
- problems
- any other information.
It's just something that came uo in my mind. Hope you like it...
Anyone more ideas??
