Just a "progress" report: While still unable to make ht://Dig 3.1.0b1
for Digital Unix 4.0D, I have been able to make it on my Digital Unix
3.2C system (using the Connection.cc, and Connection.h provided by Paul
Meyer, the HTML.cc patches provided by Geoff Hutchison, and my old
reliable comrade, gcc 2.7.2). I then transplanted the binaries to the
Digital Unix 4.0D. It works, folks. Even indexing PDFs.
One note: I made and installed db-2.4.14 separately on each platform
from within the htdig-3.1.0b1/db-2.4.14 directory; the overall htdig
maker didn't succeed with db on either platform.
