I've compiled and installed 'ht://Dig 3.1.0b1' on a FreeBSD 2.2.6
machine with Apache 1.2.4
The following query will cause a fault:
/cgi-bin/htsearch?method=boolean&words=(
The cgi process dies with a SIGSEGV (segmentaion fault). The following
message can be found in the error log:
`Somewhere_deep_inside...: missing or empty key value specified'
That error message seems to come from the DB routine __db_keyempty()
(the last function in db-2.4.14/common/db_err.c), although I can't
tell right off where it is being called from.
Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions as to a good place
for me to start looking?
Thank you.
