I'm not sure this will do exactly what you desire. While this can be added,
it greatly complicates matters and probably still doesn't help the case of
an image-as-description.
What do you link? The image? The data will be ignored since it's a binary file.
HTML markup to the image? The markup may be ignored or transformed by the
program, producing a description of "<img src='http://www.foo.com/1.gif'>"
which wouldn't be very good.
