I've applied the patch and commited to CVS. The only change I made was to allow duplicate function names to registered. I think that's more flexible since there are good reasons why you might want to overwrite a default function name. This will be released in 0.03 as soon as I fix cache mode which is utterly broken at present. D'oh!
