Well I had to de-lurk for this. I've been reading this thread and I've developed both ways with an extreme prejudice against ever seeing the html code after the designer's got hold of it. But that has been quite rare. Is there a list that discusses "how to manage a web project"? My history in web developing has been that everyone in the company wants to push the work to me like a hot potato. It would be nice to be on a list where people suggested ways/methods for turning ideas into well developed sites. And that would provide ammunition to convince others in an organization for the need to take a more systematic approach and not just dump it to the programmers asap. I'm working on a site where I am putting together my thoughts on the subject (as a person who started building websites after the import/export business went kaput in Brazil, not a computer science major by a long shot): http://www.coremodules.com/systems/ Anyone know of a "how to manage a web project" list?
