Is HttpComponents ready for some application prototyping I need to do?

I've found the relationship when I've checked HttpCore release notes. It
would be cool to put a paragraph somewhere in HttpClient. Something
along the lines of... "We are currently undergoing through a
re-engineering of HttpClient. The new code (which will be used as the
basis of HttpClient 4.0) is being developed in the HttpComponents
project. It's currently alpha-quality."
