Folks,
I evaluated various design options and decided against developing a full-blown
abstraction layer for session filters in favor of implementing a simpler SSL
session decorator. I doubt we will ever have to deal with any session coding
technologies other than SSL, so at the moment I see no value in developing a
complex abstraction, which is unlikely to be of any practical use.
