Hi Sebastian, It is not really intentional. HttpAsync is simply somewhat neglected as all our limited cycles get spent on HttpCore and HttpClient. The whole project site is so dismally awful that I get an instant heartburn every time I look at it. Unfortunately we have to live with that until we get most of the components past BETA1, so we could switch the priority from hacking code to writing documentation.
