Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI: Fix Released

Bug description:
I used to be able to use autopano-sift, but now it comes up with a message
saying It may be patented in the USA. It tells me to change this in the
preferences, but not WHAT I should change.

The obvious thing is to make sure that "autopano-sift" is the top preferred
control-point generator. But when you delve in the binaray is called
autopano-noop.sh or something like that.

I tried changing that to autopano, autopanog and autopano-complete, but none of
them work.

The message from hugin is bad: command.... failed with error code 1. Well fine.
did it say anything?

The easiest fix would be not to redirect stderr of such a called-program to
/dev/null but to just let it come out in the terminal where I started hugin.
Not nice for those who pull hugin from their "applications" menu, but good
enough for me. Better would be to just report it in a window.
