I think it was the old preview. At least, at this time, you had to enter the preview settings in the main final window, and then you had to look on the old preview. Not even sure the new preview was available at this time (2008?). It is irrelevant with the new preview anyway, as you can crop from it directly (which synchronizes correctly)

I observed this since a while. If you change the settings to crop the resulting panorama, the preview will not update itself, even if the auto button is selected. How to reproduce: * open a panorama. * open the preview window. * crop the panorama, it won't update unless 'update the preview' is pressed.
