I've looked into it some more and noticed that the erroneous behaviour occured because new parameters from the settings dialog aren't reflected in the stitcher tab when the preferences dialog is finished by pressing Okay or Apply. The parameters from the preferences dialog are copied over to the stitcher tab, but only sometime later and I'm not sure which event triggers the copy.

These were passed on correctly. When I entered another parameter in the stitcher tab's option dialog for enblend, The parameters I'd set in the preferences were no longer passed on. The dialog in the preferences says that for individual projects the set of parameters can be augmented ('ergänzt' in german), so I suppose the current behaviour is a bug.
