.pts files are ptgui projects and .ptp files are for ptassembler. Having two options as suggested should be fine: *.pto (default) * (all files)
The .oto extension was used for a while for output from autopano-sift to distinguish it from optimised .pto projects. We don't need to care about this anymore. Though I think being able to start a project in ptgui or ptassembler and switch to Hugin (and back again) is a valid use case. There are some incompatibilities, particularly with circular cropping, but this doesn't seem to bother people. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Hugin Developers, which is subscribed to Hugin. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1320750 Title: Split file filter (*.pto, *.ptp, *.pts, *.oto) into several Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI: New Bug description: *.pts file extension is used by Photivo (a RAW convertor) for its settings files. Hence I often have a lot of *.pts and *.pto files in one directory. It would be much easier to find Hugin panoramas if I could choose only *.pto files in the file filter in the open dialog. So I suggest to provide separate filters for these extensions instead of one filter.
