Hugin hangs on launch after first time installation

Bug description:
So, I thought I'd check out Hugin after finding it today. I downloaded
the latest stable build for Mac OS, and put it in applications. I
opened it and it proceeded to hang immediately with the "Hugin -
Panorama Stitcher" window up. Just beach ball mouse cursor. I wound up
force quitting it.
Further details can be found in the rtf file which contains the Mac OS
problem report for Hugin that generates when it is force quit.
