Crash happens if I open Hugin, switch to "Advanced" or "Expert" interface, and close Hugin. Then the only way to start Hugin without crash is to delete ~/.hugin. If I start hugin and close it while Simple interface is active, then I can start it again. If I start Hugin in simple interface, switch to advanced, and then switch back to simple, then it is ok. So the workaround is deleting ~/.hugin before starting hugin.
There are a lot of "critical" gtk errors showing up on the terminal from where I started it, but those show up also when Hugin is starting normally (i.e. after deleting ~/.hugin). For instance: (hugin:6438): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 11:12:58.013: gtk_widget_set_size_request: assertion 'height >= -1' failed. ** Summary changed: - hugin crashes on startup + hugin crashes on startup if closed with advanced or expert interface -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Hugin Developers, which is subscribed to Hugin. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1865578 Title: hugin crashes on startup if closed with advanced or expert interface Status in Hugin: New Bug description: Hugin 2019.2.0-2 on Archlinux 5.5.6-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT. glxgears works.
