Yes, I agree, but I think that this improvement can be very useful, especially with large panoramas; the current way of doing this is not very user-friendly, also because if you do not reset the exposure settings every time you change the anchor it will not work... A function in the preview (that switches off the "mean exposure") and recalc it automatically would be great...
