Hello,
If you post your project and pictures to the files area, others could
try and see what happens. Could you post some details such as what
operating system you are using and lens details?
Best regards,
Gerry

Hello, Perhaps someone here can help me. I have tried many times to
use Hugin .7 and simply couldn't make it work, so I uninstalled that
and installed 4.0 on a Vista machine. That was no better. No matter
what I do, the preview image is square and almost totally black, as is
the finished, saved image. If there is any detail, it is wildly
distorted.
I attempted to stitch together three images that were shot using a
calibrated pano head. Other pano stitchers (PhotoStitch) stitched the
image pretty well, but left too many PhotoShop "fixes." I loaded the
three images into Hugin and followed the tutorial to the letter for
stitching two images. I used five control point pairs per stitch.
Same result: the preview shows a black square. I saved the image and
opened it in PhotoShop and it really is just a black square.
Oddly, I tried the assistant tab, and I did get a pano image but badly
distorted. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
