I've been using Hugin on linux for some year. Just got a new camera and found a problem not experienced before. Took two pictures (of my bedroom) and fired up Hugin (version 2010.0.0.5045). Auto did a fine job - at least insofar as the Fast Preview was concerned, but looking at the ordinary Preview which was the same as the final stitched product, almost completely black.
To get the ordinary Preview window to show anything, have to reduce the EV right down, but at this point the light from the window is massively over-exposed (it is not in the original). I cannot seem to get the same result in the Fast Preview as the ordinary Preview - anyone any clues what is happening? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hugin and other free panoramic software" group.
