Unfortunately, I'm tied up in other work at the moment, so I had to
postpone these two packages. but I did not abandon them (yet ;) ).
Good
I have created the hugin-2011.4.0+dfsg-0ubuntu2~lucid package now.
However, I do not have a lucid installation to try it out, so please let
me know your findings if you install and use it.
So, all you need is a little patience. On the other hand, you may
want to help with it? Let me know if so ,,,
May be, what's involved? I'm a database guy, not C or Python but I can
run make files.
You don't have to delve into programming in order to contribute to the
project. In fact, your request for a lucid version already is a
contribution on it's own. And there always is testing, error reporting,
translations, support and spreading the word about hugin and open source
software. And keep subscribed to this mailing list, we may need the help
of a database specialist sometime in the future ...
I wish all of you a splendid 2012
Stefan

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In
practice there is.
