I think this is done by the blender, but many blenders can give you the
image of the seams. Maybe hugin could use it to calculate and show the
seams.

Maybe another approach could be making the seams with something like bezier
curves and generate the seams images to the blender.

Surely I would appreciate a visible seams feature.
