Hello all, I'm trying to compose/overlay multiple photos taken with a compact camera into one single output image. Source images are very similar, taken with a handheld pocket camera and consequently slightly misaligned. My goal is to transform them so they all 'match' and blend/average them somehow.
I've tried with the align_image_stack command with unsatisfactory results. Has anybody found a good way to achieve this? Is Hugin the right toolkit to use? It looks quite promising to me, though i get somewhat overwhelmed with the many options and the time it takes to try them all. You can find an example image set that i tried here: https://plus.google.com/photos/115068048570651372011/albums/5917313742682200929?authkey=CJeWr97H_dmPbg Any help is greatly appreciated.
