Graeme Moss <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> reports frustrating, unrepeatable errors
that go away if he just restarts Hugs.
Sigh! We know about this bug but don't have any repeatable examples
we use to try to chase it down. If anyone ever manages to come up
with a way of consistently hitting this bug, we'll be on it right
away.
Here at Yale, we've taken to configuring Hugs with --enable-tag-checks
which does a few consistency checks during execution - our hope is to
find the bug a little sooner than we might otherwise. Of course,
these extra checks make Hugs execute Haskell code a little sooner -
and we suspect that the problem is somewhere in the compiler anyway...
