Sigh, I _thought_ I knew what was wrong - guess I've been away from
Hugs too long.


Only thing I can think of is that there is something wrong with the
path you're specifying:

> Reading file "c:\apps\hugs98\lib\Prelude.hs":
> ParsingBad command or file name

But what that thing might be, I can't imagine.  
I assume the file it mentions (c:\apps\hugs98\lib\Prelude.hs) does
exist and is readable?

Sorry I can't be more help.  Hope the official Hugs maintainers can
suggest something.
