Yes, see:

If there is a SuSE package for it, check that it is for the Dec 2001
release.  


If not, use the Generic Unix package.  Untar it and reid
hugs98-Dec2001/Install.  It's quite easy to do and doesn't require you
to run as root or anything like that.

[Question for Hugs maintainers: Should the download page point to
SuSE, Debian, etc. packages if they exist?]
