I don't believe Geoff is fake but does have a mission to confirm that
his reality of audio engineering expertise and medical situation is
enough to explain the Hum.
The irritation that others don't agree with him is what drives his
input imo.
You will just have to learn to ignore his pointed comments Dee -as
right from the early days he was questioning your sanity- just because
you have a fertile imagination and lack some technical expertise.
You have as much right as anyone to post your thoughts and Geoff will
always oppose anything that is not LF tinnitus on this broad
unexplained sub topic of Hum.
Possible contenders to our problem are:

EM smog
Dodgy programs never admitted to by Gov't, I'll wager.
HF Tinnitus
LF Tinnitus (maybe)
Industrial noise production
Planetary unknowns (suspected)
and...
Geoff-
but he is sincere and keeps the temperature up in what could be rather
a dry arena,otherwise !

I do agree though, that the flow of discussion is often hampered by
'same same' comments -and that seems a bit underhand /unhelpful -as we
try to float new ideas here.
Geoff seems to have adopted the role of Witchfinder General on here as
well as Medical Advisor (Mental Health Division) -but you must
remember that NZ is a long way away from everyone else and has many
strange life forms :)
