I use the foam earplugs that are provided for me at work. Two largish
buds on a plastic half loop, they look somewhat like a pair of in the
ear headphones. I find they do work, even when the Hum is set to
turbo. I know what you're saying though, it's not only breathing, but
the sound of your feet as they hit the ground as you walk. A colleague
of mine claimed to have concentrated so much on the sound of his
walking that he forgot to breath!
