'Fomalhaut, 25 light-years away, is the brightest star in the autumn
sky'.
Our tiny solar system is about one light WEEK across so it is 50
(weeks in a yr) x25 (l.y distant) = 1250 times the width of our solar
system away and still the brightest (ie:close, though large) in the
Autumn sky!
Bear in mind that the Pioneer1 probe has only just left our solar
system- after travelling for decades!
