I did want to let Aux reply to this- but before it gets buried in
history I'll say:
Frightening, strange, unbelievable and definitely far from new.
When I heard about this story decades ago- it seemed to have a certain
prescient horror to it- which I put down to having served on many
Navy ships in my time- and passaging through a tornado has a similar
feel to it!.

Silly? not totally -when we know so little of what gets done in our
names behind our very backs.
A lot of strange stuff is hanging on 'ol Teslas coat tails IMO.
