We certainly do live in the age of 'spin' ! Maybe that should read 'lies that can't be proven as such' -due to lack of access to hard evidence to the contrary. Politics seemed to have been seriously devalued lately [not that it was ever perfect] and people seem almost hopeless of it ever recovering.
Obama is the new US flavour of the year- we'll see how long it lasts before the weevils start dropping out of the woodwork! As to our immediate worries- debunking activity -I see as really destructive and cheap even if not organised, which a lot of it is ,IMO. The web is hard to stop without showing a completely totalitarian face! Debunking is a major tool in the PTB armoury. No doubt about that.
