When you think that, for thousands of years, the only way people learnt about impending disaters was to watch animals' behaviour- it makes us seem not so sophisticated today -for all our sciences! We learnt which were the bad berries by watching what each other ate and then keeping a weather eye open, for more than a little while. Hence our human interest in and black jokes over innards working maybe? Like the modern unknown Hum, when someone comes out with it , we are then the new 'sample' to be monitored, hoped/assumed to be deluded- and kept a 'bit clear' of. Things don't change much do they. Thank God it 'only' Tinnitus, anyway .....<g>
