What low standards you have for 'good'.
No, it's just another load of crap. Nobody 'discovered' beat frequencies in
1939. And it's nothing to do with binaurality.
Beat frequencies exist whenever two acoustic wave are present, and are most
noticeable as low frequency 'ghost' notes when the difference is small.
That how you can easily tune a guitar or other acoustic instrument (to
itself), as done by millions of people ever since string instruments
existed.
