Out on my side porch just now listening to the creek just below my place and while you can't apply the word tides (coming or going) to what happens on a creek, you can, if you listen closely, hear the changes in the flow of the water. The wind in the numerous willows (no joke!) along the bank, may have something to do with the sound or, the snow melt ,miles above, may also have something to do with the sound because its spring here and the creek is running high....The hum has been a 7, on a scale of 1 - 10 for the last few days.
