Your personal slant covers many aspects Julian. One issue that stands out is the 'temporary' one. If only this were true for many sufferers, some of whom have been at it years and years. A major problem for many and various 'Hum sensitives' is the discrepancy between what is a by product of modern life- Gas pipes, Mains Transformers, Drying/Vent fans,Motorways & etc.. [Low Power EM or acoustic vibrations]- basically slipping the net of their origin and then the insiduous doubt many have about higher technologies. This includes Microwaves. Haarp, Infrasound, LF coded use of Schumann resonance, Chemtrails [not obvious, but capable waveguides] and the like. Throw in the variabilty of the hearers pick up mode[s] and sensitivity, and the fact that hum is bound to have variations time to time, and you may well suggest temporarily- but I would counter 'Not neccesarily so' - nor as benign as you illustrate. What exactly is your point here? The stop start nature of Hum is also part of its curse, for many!
