I've been interested in nutrition for many years. One of my recent finds is Vitamin K, specifically K2 rather than the poorly absorbed K1 or not useful for human use K3. This vit helps in the transport of calcium out of soft body tissue [inc. the blood circulation system] making it available to the needed bone structure and elsewhere. John recently gave a link to the considered use of Magnesium and calcium in moderately high doses for dealing with hum successfully. I , incidently, used higher Mg daily and thought it affected a reduction in hum but level taken was much lower than proposed here. I have , however been taking K2 in this time and think this may be having some effect. There's no test for K2 levels in the body yet, it's recognised as an antioxidant and helpful in Vit D3 absorption . The minimum daily amt for men is 120ug and women 90ug- so is a micronutrient. There's no over dose level. This Vit is in green foods in amounts of daily servings that are well above these levels. As we age many nutrients become depleted due to diets or poor retention/utilisation etc so maybe this is an area where safe dietary advice is easy to follw. ie: Romain lettuce is loaded with K2, which for a watery leaf seems amazing [K2 is an oil soluble vit]. Do some research, I would put a jpg of some figures up if it was still possible here. Parsl;ey ,Spinach and Kale have very high K2 [~10x daily amount/ serving I have found a H&B vit ABC for seniors that has useful amounts of these relevant vits and NO iron , more to the point. Men, and relatively [¬ably] more women get Hum issues later in life when the Fe levels can rise above normal -for women for the first time since puberty.. Thus , I suggest calcification of inner ear coupled with high iron may predispose the picking up of unwanted & intrusive EMF manifestations. This may also contribute to magnetic sensitivity in the ear.
