Local electric utility installing BPL power line carrier wave Gloria - I lived with it for 20 months before I found out what it was. Nobody else here can hear it either. But ultimately i found others were affected. It drove me into the ground, literally. No, it never stops. It's for reading the power line equipment, including your meter, and for internet access. Have they been putting up a lot of big, black cables on the poles lately? They're fiber optic cables, the long black boxes on them are recievers/amplifiers.
I posted a letter here that I sent to the electric utility and the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission. It's pretty self-explanitory after you've read it. "They" know you're suffering along with quite a few others. Windsor, Ontario was the latest - They put that down to under-lake noise from Zug Island. But it's not. The emissions get into the wiring in your house - That's why it's always louder indoors. The darn stuff leaks from the power lines like a seive. Call your electric company after you've read my letter. Tell them what you know and they'll deny it's existence. But don't be put off - There are plenty of people in your area that can hear it alright, 2-10%, age group 50-60. There you go everyone here - This lady can put an exact date on it. what do you say now?
