Having worked on the Nuclear Industry decades ago at quite an involved level I was reminded that for all the increased cancer risks, both personal and world wide from those times I'm still kicking around. [ie:Not yet popped] I didn't like what was happening in the world during the Cold War -but had little choice, like many. Likely, many things were and still are being covered up from those times but the aim was clear. Now, we have many new technologies as discussed here and there- but the aim is more about protecting corporate & political backsides + profits. People also, as I intimated earlier,have got rather laid back about what freedoms and rights they hang on to.[Versus older generation, like me] In some respects [I've said before] Hum Sufferers are lucky to have a reminder that it's not enough to trust vested interests to cover for ones health and happiness. Not fighting a losing battle- nor having much fun trying to win....
