I am amazed the energy levels increase by only 7% max. I would have thought the amplification of a volume (room) would increase it a lot more, compaired to outside.
Even a room with double glazing rather than single glazing increse the hum 'sound' As for myself, I cannot hear the hum outside at all, and only hear it indoors when the hum is in operation.
