Over the past 20 years I have devoted much time to investigating the Hum.
During this period I have received hundreds of emails, letters, press
cuttings and official publications and some 750 replies from internet
surveys.
Most correspondence is concerned with the noise of the Hum, what it sounds
like, when and where it is heard, a lesser number gives an indication of
how the Hum affects the brain.
This is understandable for many sufferers would be reluctant to discuss the
matter and Official Hum investigations do not even consider the question,
however, I have a sufficient number of statements to show that this is a
real and important aspect of the Hum.
One often repeated statement is that Hum sufferers can experience vivid and
disturbing dreams, these dreams are so vivid and contain such exact details
they could almost considered as hallucinations.
There are gust too many of such reports tom be dismissed as of no
consequence and there appears to be no evidence that such effects can be
produced by sound waves.

This may have no connection but I would like to recall the fact that in
1993 the US Government commissioned an investigation into the Hum. The
investigation was in 2 parts. The first part was concerned with sound waves
and vibrations, the second part with electromagnetic properties of the Hum.

At the end of the investigation part one, the acoustic part was published
in its entirety and revealed absolutely nothing.

Part two, the electromagnetic part was deemed as classified and as far as I
am aware has never been made available for public scrutiny
