Greetings Red Hat Partners, We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of updated Red Hat Certification 5.9 and associated test suite package updates (listed below). This Red Hat Certification package update is an official release and should be used for all new Red Hat certification submissions. Successful results from the previous certification test suite will be accepted for a period of 90 days.

An alert is now displayed in the web interface when a redhat-certification update is available to inform and encourage partners to upgrade. 2. A bug was fixed that prevented a new partner from creating their first hardware certification. 3. Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux for IBM System z (Structure A) is added including the virtualization tests, fv_core and fv_memory. 4. The configuration files for the virtualization tests are updated to be more future-proof for aarch64 and ppc64le architectures. 5. The retired product Red Hat OpenStack 8 has been removed as an option from creating new certifications. Note that this may be a change for some users who are used to using the old "Red Hat Hardware Certification Program" product.
