* From [EMAIL PROTECTED] hey im really psyched to help you mike i usually feel lame when i post thinking someone else has more important stuff to say. :) my take on overdubbing and the knobs and effects in general is that it keeps recording over all previous loops like try this: make an easy underworld bassline (i know they are gods but the arpegiation type thing is out of the bag) with the grid mode record and then overdub some cutoff and resonance twists then let it keep looping and keep twisting. I find that i come out with a neat bubbly effect, so if you don't then i don't know :V so this shows that it keeps recording changes over the other changes. now this is a problem if you don't like the settings you recorded so go undo it or if you cant then you can just hold shift and turn the knob you used to erase it(if you really want to be sure you got rid of it then you can go into the edit mode and find the cc messages and delete them Neato! the rm1x kicks ass! im pretty sure thats right -matt ___________________________________________________________________________ The Yamaha Hardware Sequencer (qy/rm1x) Mailing List is a free service provided by TekLab and is open to all members of the Internet community.
